Diabetes is a major medical issue in the Middle East. Opened by the Kuwait Foundation for Advancement in Science in 2006, the Dasman Centre for Research and Treatment of Diabetes in Kuwait City, Kuwait provides comprehensive tertiary-level care to this growing patient population. The Dasman Centre for Research and Treatment of Diabetes is also focused on diabetes research, educating healthcare professional about diabetes treatments, and educating the community about treatment and prevention.

Reporting to the Patient Services Manager, the Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of education and clinical programs for both staff and patients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and
  • Master’s degree prepared or specialty diabetes certification, and
  • Current nursing license in Canada or the United States, and
  • A minimum of five years related experience in clinical diabetes teaching at a large acute-care teaching hospital in North America (experience in research and clinical investigations is a plus).
