With 1000+ beds, the multi-site hospital is the chief healthcare provider in Qatar. Its centers include: Hamad General Hospital (621 beds), Rumaillah Rehabilitation Hospital (200 beds), Womens’ Hospital (334 beds), and Al Amal Cancer Hospital. HMC houses the regional trauma referral centre. Adjacent to the HMC grounds, a new 1,100-bed medical complex has been constructed. Medical students from Weill-Cornell Medial School, Doha, receive clinical experience at HMC.
