The CT/MRI technologists at the King Faisal Specialist Hopistal and Resaerch centre in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia perform imaging procedures utilizing computerized tomograohy and magnetic resonance scanners. Principle duties include:

  • Review exams order/requisitions
  • Explain proceures to patients
  • Prepare equipment, supplies, contrast media and medications
  • Adjust and operatecomputerized tomograhic and magnetic resonance imaging equipment to scan designated anatomical areas
  • Monitor patient condition during and after scan
  • Record all required information

Requirements

  • Associate's degree/Diploma in Radiologic Technology/Radiologic Sciences, and
  • Current registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) or the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), and
  • A minimum of three years experience as a MRI Technologist, including a minimum of one year experience in a senior role, in a mid- to large-sized hospital in North America.
