The Department of Dentistry located at the ground floor performs its clinical practice in 10 operatory clinics and surgical suites with state of art dental units and an advanced digital radiography network.
The departments provide its full services through six functional sections:
General Dentistry – The General Dentistry section provide a high standard quality general dental care for the hospital in and out patient and medical compromise patient through two General clinic.
Prosthodontics – The Prosthodontics section provide quality prosthodontic care using the latest techniques for crowns, bridges, implant supported restorations, cosmetic procedures, complete and partial dentures and complete mouth reconstruction.
Endodontics – The Endodontics section provide both conventional and surgical treatment. Is well equipped with modernized instruments that will assure the patient good and smooth treatment.
Pedodontics – Pediatric dental care section, provide a comprehensive care to the children through prevention and management of dental caries and periodontal disease. Also all aspects of tooth and occlusal developmental disturbances, traumatic injuries, oral pathological conditions, juvenile prosthodontics, pain control using advanced sedation technique and dental treatment of handicapped and medically compromised children.
Orthodontics – The orthodontic section take care of all minor and major orthodontic problems in addition to the facial abnormalities and cleft palate patient care in coordination with other dental and hospital specialities.
Maxiilofacial Surgery – The Maxillofacial surgical suites takes care of all of the dental alveolar surgeries in addition to the facial trauma Temporomandibular Joint Problems, cleft lip and palate repair, facial tumors, facial reconstruction and facial easthetic surgery in coordination with the other dental and hospital specialities.
Job Summary:
Provides patient care assigned by performing dental assisting dutiesu using the "4-Handed Dentistry" technique in clinical practice. Prepares patients and assists dentist for all clinical procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma and Registered Dental Assistant or Certified Dental Assistant with Registration (R.D.A.) or Certification (C.D.A.)
- Three (3) years current experience working as a certified dental assistant in North America.
