The Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSIU) at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has 14-18 beds divided into two main phyical locations:

a) Main ICU (MSICU) - which consists of 10 beds

b) Transitional Critical Care Unit (TCCU) - which consists of 4-8 beds

 

Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1:1-2

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing, and
  • Current nursing license in Canada or the United States, and
  • A minimum of two years experience as a Registered Nurse working in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in North America
