The KFSHRC-Jeddah is a 330 bed, tertiary-level referral center that is JCI accredited. It is the only tertiary hospital in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia. It is currently expanding, and within three years will have 700 beds.

The Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, currently has 18 beds.  A further expansion of 5 beds is scheduled for 2011, bringing the total number of beds to 23. 

  • All ICU candidates must be able to manage ventilated patients
  • Ratios are generally 1:1 with vented patients

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing, and
  • Current nursing (RN) license in Canada or the United States, and
  • A minimum of two years current, full-time experience as a Registered Nurse working in ICU in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in North America.

Due to cultural restrictions, the positions are reserved for FEMALE candidates.
