Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
The 16-bed Neuroscience Unit at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center in Jeddah treats neurology and neurosurgery patients.
The most common conditions include:
- brain & spinal tumors
- aneurysms
- neurovascular anomalies
Nursing responsibilities include epilepsy monitoring, tracheostomy care.
Nurse to patient ratio:
1 : 5 (depending on acuity)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing, and
- Current nursing license in Canada or the United States, and
- A minimum of two years experience as a Registered Nurse, including one-year recent experience in a similar area, working in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in North America.
