The 21-bed pediatric unit at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Jeddah treats children age newborn to 13 years.

The unit sees medical and surgical cases, including:  Immunology; Neurology; Neurosurgery; Endocrinology; Gastroenterology; Nephrology; Cardiology; Pulmonology; Reconstructive Surgery (Plastics); General Surgery; General Medicine; Orthopaedics; Ear, nose and throat.

Nurse to patient ratio:
1 : 3-4

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing, and
  • Current nursing (RN) license in Canada or the United States, and
  • A minimum of two years current, full-time experience as an RN in Pediatrics, working in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in North America.
