Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
The Immunoserology Laboratory Supervisor at the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, will supervise operations of the Immunology Lab, ensuring that standards of quality and efficieny are maintained.
The Laboratoy Supervisor will:
- Manage, plan, organize and monitor the operations of the Immunology Lab
- Supervise daily work activities of technical and administrative staff
- Maintain efficient operation of the Laboratory Information System
- Assist the Section Head in developing and reccomending new methodologies
- Develop and maintain state of the art quality control and improvement programs
- Evaluate staff performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/Associate’s degree/Diploma in Medical Technology, and
- Current registration with the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS), and
- A minimum of two years experience as a registered Medical Technologist in a mid- to large-sized hospital in North America with a minimum of one year in a similar supervisory role.
