The position is in the Cell Biology Section of Biological and Medical Research Department. Principal duties will be to perform assigned specific scientific projects in line with the
Diabetes Research Program of the section.

The Department of Biological and Medical Research (BMR) primarily supports basic biomedical research that focuses on cancer and cardiovascular diseases. More specifically, it is concerned with the cellular and molecular changes involved in the development of these conditions. Original research in this area forms the foundation for advances in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.

The Department is comprised of 14 Research Units aided by Bioanalytical/Toxicological Reference Laboratories and Core Facilities.

Requirements:

The position is in the Cell Biology Section of The Biological and Medical Research Department. Principal duties will be to perform assigned specific scientific projects in line with the Diabetes Research Program of the section.

  • Must hold a PhD or MD in Molecular and/or Cellular Biochemistry, with a background in Diabetes/Obesity research.
