Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Nurses in the Ante/Postpartum/Newborn Nursery Unit at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia function within a total care nursing system. The 27-bed unit treats ante and post-partum women and newborns, as well as gynecology and gyne-oncology patients. Many patients are high-risk; the unit also treats many IVF patients.
Nurse to patient ratio:
1 : 5 or 6
Shifts are 12-hours in length and follow the American rotation. Overtime is available.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree or Diploma in Nursing, and
- Current nursing license in Canada or the United States, and
- A minimum of two years current experience as a Registered Nurse, of which at least one must be in the specialty area, working in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in North America.
- Must have high risk ante/post partum experience.
