Unit/Job Description

The Surgical Nursing Program is made up of eight clinical areas including Therapy, Radiation Therapy, Urology, Gastroenterology, Solid Organ Transplant, Ortho and Plastic Surgery, General Surgery, ORL/Dental & Orphth, Neuro, EMU, and Med/Surgery VIP.

The Education Coordinator works within the division of Nursing Development & Saudiization, which is responsible for all nursing staff development and education. She/He reports to the Assistant Chief of Nursing Affairs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, and
  • Current nursing license in Canada or the United States, and
  • A minimum of five years recent experience as a Registered Nurse at a large acute-care teaching hospital in North America, including a minimum of one year current experience as a Clinical Instructor in the relevant field.
