The Physical Therapy Department at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia provides both Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy services.

Orthopedic, neurological, musculo-skeletal, oncology, cardiopulmonary, women’s health, development, and wound care patients are seen on an inpatient, outpatient, or home health care basis.

In 2006, the department received more than 43,000 patient visits, and administered more than 77,000 treatments. And it received a 96% outpatient satisfaction rating.

Physical Therapists provide identification, prevention, and rehabilitation of acute or prolonged physical dysfunction or pain. There are approximately 26 Physical Therapists and two Physical Therapy Assistants on staff.

The Senior Physical Therapist will:

• Plan and Administer physical therapy programs for patients to restore function, relieve pain and prevent disability.
• Train staff members in clinical areas of responsibility

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, and
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Canada or the United States, and
• A minimum of three (3) years experience as a Physical Therapist in North America, including one (1) year of experience in the assigned area of specialty.
• Three positions available:  Two positions available for PT with Musculoskeletal experience, and one position available for PT with Pediatrics experience.
