The Section of Clinical Neurophysiology emphasizes high-quality neurodiagnostic and neuromonitoring services for King Faisal Specialist Hospital patients. A team of highly trained, experienced and board-certified personnel provides these services.
Accomplishing over 4,000 procedures annually hinges on the dedicated efforts of 13 technologists, two consultants, two nurses and two secretaries. The section also enjoys the collaboration of consultants from the sections of Neurology and Pediatric Neurology in EEG, EP, EMG & NCS, IOM and epilepsy monitoring.
Requirements:
- Completion of a formal (minimum) two-year program in Clinical Neurophysiology required
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Neurophysiology is preferred.
- Current registration with the the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) or the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalograph Technologists (CBRET) required, and
- A minimum of five to eight years recent, post-registration experience as a Neurophysiology Technologist, plus at least one-year current, full-time post-Registration experience in a supervisory capacity over a neurophysiology lab in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in North America.
