The Rashid Hospital is a 600-bed tertiary-care hospital. The Rashid Trauma Centre is part of the Rashid Hospital. It houses facilities for emergency medicine, surgery, and ICU and treats adults and children suffering multiple traumas. The Trauma Centre has approximately 135,000 ER patient visits per year, with an admission rate of approximately 10%.
Reporting to the Nursing Director, the Clinical Educator: provides clinical and educational support to Trauma Center staff; assumes primary responsibility for the development, implementation, and evaluation of orientation, education, and skills training programs; and supports the clinical practice.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing,
- Postgraduate course(s) in Operating Room,
- Current licensure,
- Five years clinical teaching experience, including a minimum of two years experience as a Clinical Educator in the Operating Room, in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in North America
