The Rashid Hospital is a 600-bed tertiary-care hospital. The Rashid Trauma Centre is part of the Rashid Hospital. It houses facilities for emergency medicine, surgery, and ICU and treats adults and children suffering multiple traumas. The Trauma Centre has approximately 135,000 ER patient visits per year, with an admission rate of approximately 10%.
Reporting to the Nursing Director, is responsible and accountable for managing and providing leadership to a service. The incumbent manages the staff and resources and provides leadership and consultative advice in clinical care, operational and administrative activities of the service; ensures that programs and services are delivered in an effective and efficient manner and meets established strategic plans and organizational objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum 3 years recent nursing management experience with a minimum of 1 year current nursing management experience in OR,working in a Level I Trauma hospital in North America.
- Recent clinical experience scrubbing and circulating for trauma cases required.
