Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required (OR a three-year Diploma for Canadians)
  • Certification: ASCP in relevant bench (e.g., BB, C, CG, CT, H, M, MB, or MT) (for Americans); CSMLS in MLT or relevant bench of Diagnostic Cytology or Clinical Genetics (for Canadians); or equivalent
  • 3-5 years current full-time supervisory experience in the relevant bench at a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital (academic centres preferred)
  • Sub-specialty management credentials preferred
