Job Summary:
The Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist will both identify and treat communication problems related to language and speech. He/she will work with patients of all ages. Speech-language pathologists seek to improve communication skills through vocal exercises and cognitive therapies.
Reports to: Manager of Rehabilitative Services
Requirements:
- Master's Degree or PhD with a minimum of 3 years of current experience as a Pediatric Speech Therapist at a mid- to large-sized acute care pediatric hospital, OR
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of current experience as a Pediatric Speech Therapist at a mid- to large-sized acute care pediatric hospital
- A strong background in Evidence Based Speech Language Pathology
- Current, Active Licensure or Registration from state or province of residence if applicable
- Holder of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) in Speech Language Pathology from a program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or from internationally recognised accredited professional organization from country of origin
- Must be fluent in Arabic
