The King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSH&RC) is a modern, 1,100+ bed Joint Commission International (JCI)-accredited academic medical facility located in Riyadh, the vibrant capital city of Saudi Arabia.

The Cardiovascular Telemetry Unit treats both adult and pediatric cardiovascular surgical patients post-CSICU. It has 20 cardiovascular beds, three vascular beds, and nine pediatric cardiology beds.

The most commons procedures include:

  • CABGs, valve repair/replacements, Heart transplantations and congenital cardiac anomaly repairs.
  • Correction of Pediatric cardiac congenital anomalies include definitive surgeries such as arterial switch, VSD repair, ASD repair, AVSD correction, PDA, SAMR, TOF correction, Rastelli procedure, Fontan procedure, DORV correction, RVOT correction, PA augmentations, palliative procedures such as PA banding, BT shunt, Glenn shunt and central shunt. Cardiac catheterization and non surgical repair procedures done in cathlab.
  • Vascular surgeries include fem-pop bypass, Amputation, AAA repair.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online/distance education programs cannot be considered)
  • Current nursing (RN) license
  • Must have a minimum of two years current experience in cardiovascular telemetry (surgical)
