Statistics show many marriages in Saudi Arabia come to an end during the Eid holiday. According to Saudi marriage consultants, the extensive planning and execution of family events often strain marriages to the breaking point. One man reportedly divorced both of his wives following his refusal to buy them new clothing for an Eid event.
