Middle Eastern art is becoming a hot commodity, according to Christie’s Dubai, the Middle Eastern branch of the famous London auction house. The firm reported that sales of Iranian, Turkish, and Arab contemporary pieces fetched a cold US$7.3 million at its last two auctions last week in Dubai.
