The King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSH&RC) is a modern, almost 1,000-bed Joint Commission International (JCI)-accredited academic medical facility located in Riyadh, the vibrant capital city of Saudi Arabia

The Oncology Clinic spans two floors in the oncology building providing treatment and supportive care for adult oncology/ hematology/ Stem Cell Transplantation (SCT), palliative care patients and pediatric immunology/post transplant patients.

Services include treatment areas for the administration long and short therapies. There is an extensive adult and pediatric bone marrow transplant service that has been awarded the JACIE accreditation for excellence in BMT and SCT. There are approximately 70 physician’s clinics per week including 2 combined clinics and 5 surgical-oncology clinics. Additional to this there are three nurse led “drop in” clinics that provides immediate access to patients who may be at risk from treatment complication.

Number of patient’s visits per annum amounts to 74,000

The adult medical oncology section is divided under the following programs: Breast Cancer, Lymphoma, Sarcoma, Head and Neck, Lung, GI/ GU and Gynecology.

The adult Hematology/ SCT section is divided under two programs, namely Stem Cell Transplant and Leukemia. A three bedded area specifically developed to treat leukemia patients was initiated in June 2012 and is currently seeing all Leukemia patients.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required online degrees cannot be accepted
  • Current nursing (RN) license in Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand
  • Minimum four years of experience as an RN working in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital setting) in Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand
  • One year of current experience as an Assistant Nurse Manager or Nurse Manager in an outpatient oncology setting in Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand
  • Must have chemo certification
