The 470 bed hospital was established in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to provide high-level tertiary-care services to the population in the Western Region. Centres of excellence within the hospital include Oncology, Cardiac, Transplant, and Neurosciences.


  • Medical Degree
  • Current, active medical license in: Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand
  • National Board subspecialty certification in Critical Care Medicine from Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand
  • Minimum three years of post-specialty certification experience as a Consultant Intensivist working in Cardiac Surgical ICU in a tertiary-care, academic hospital in Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand
