The King Faisal Specialist Hospital - Jeddah is a 470-bed tertiary specialist hospital located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

It is one of the three campuses of the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre and specializes in Oncology, Cardiac, Transplant, and Neurosciences.

The Deputy Executive Director for Nursing Affairs (DEDNA) is responsible for overseeing the operational management of all clinical programs within Nursing Affairs; as well as providing direct leadership to selected programs and initiatives. Nursing Operations includes three divisions under the leadership of Program Directors: General Services, Specialty Services and Ambulatory Services; as well as clinical support roles (Nursing Supervisors, Nursing Informatics, and Product Coordination).

The DEDNA will be responsible for strategic and operational planning, budget development and monitoring, manpower planning, personnel management and recruitment, achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators, patient satisfaction and a positive work environment. A total of 26 nursing units and over 1,000 nursing staff report within Nursing Operations.

The DEDNA is a key member of the Megaproject expansion team for the planning and commissioning of the new medical city to open in 2017.

Position Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or Health Administration
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Current nursing license (RN) from Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand
  • Minimum of 10 years experience, in progressive, senior administrative roles (to include several years of current experience in a similar role Executive/Deputy Executive of Nursing role), at a large tertiary-care teaching hospital in Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand
