Established in 1996, the Prince Sultan Cardiac Center is a 174-bed advanced cardiac hospital, which provides high-quality, comprehensive cardiovascular healthcare services to armed forced personnel and their dependants.


The Director will be responsible for the following units:

  • CSICU (Adult unit with 15 beds; Pediatric unit with 14 beds)
  • CCU - 25 beds, patients 13 years and older
  • Pediatric Cardiology ICU - 11 beds, patients newborn to age 12
  • Cardiac Cath Lab - 6 labs, and 12 bed day case/recovery area
  • CVOR - 5 ORs, of which one is hybrid


  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand (online programs cannot be considered)
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Current nursing (RN) license in: Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand
  • Minimum six years of recent experience as an RN in a mid- to large-sized acute-care/tertiary hospital in Canada, the US, the UK, Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand, of which at least the past three years must be in a Nurse Manager/Nurse Director position over any/all of the above units
