Director of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

A relatively new teaching hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is looking for a Hospital-wide Director of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety to join their team.

Recently the hospital received funding to expand and develop more specialized acute-care programs to serve a growing population. In addition, the hospital is revising its policies and procedures so that its practices are more in line with Western standards.

The Director will oversee Quality Improvement and Patient Safety for the entire hospital.

Requirements for this position include:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Administration or a Healthcare profession such an Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, etc.
  • A Master's Degree in Administration or Healthcare Quality is strongly preferred.
  • Certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years experience in QI & Patient Safety in a hospital setting, including two years of current experience at a Senior Manager/Director-level position over hospital quality with a large tertiary-care hospital
  • Clinical background required
