The King Faisal Specialist Hospital - Medina is a new, 300-bed tertiary specialist hospital located in Medina, Saudi Arabia.

When this brand new hospital opens at the start of 2020, it will be the newest campus of the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, whose other sites are in Riyadh and Jeddah.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Performing administrative, managerial, and professional work, including leadership, directing, planning, and organizing activities
  • Developing goals and objectives, and establishing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Developing new programs as required
  • Planning, organizing, and directing patient care and documentation
  • Reviewing employment applications, and interviewing/selecting candidates
  • Conducting performance evaluations, taking disciplinary actions, counseling staff
  • Directing QI/QA
  • Evaluating patients and administering PT procedures, maintaining progress reports, consulting with physicians, etc.
  • Acting as clinical consultant in areas of patient care, ethics, and research
  • Preparing and maintaining department budget

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Physical Therapy required (please note, online entry-to-practice degrees cannot be accepted)
  • Registered PT with current PT license from the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand
  • If have Doctoral degree, five years of experience in a mid- to large-sized tertiary hospital setting in the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand, of which the past three years must be in a similar Director role
  • If have Master's degree, eight years of experience in a mid- to large-sized tertiary hospital setting in the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand, of which the past three years must be in a similar Director of Physical Therapy role
  • If have Bachelor's degree, 10 years of experience in a mid- to large-sized tertiary hospital setting in the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand, of which the past three years must be in a similar Director of Physical Therapy role
