The King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSH&RC) is a modern, almost 1,000-bed Joint Commission International (JCI)-accredited academic medical facility located in Riyadh, the vibrant capital city of Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

  • Performing: Digital Video EEG; Visual, Brainstem Auditory, and Somatosensory Evoked Potentials; Nerve Conduction Studies; Sleep Studies; Pulse Oximetry; Autonomic Studies and Long-Term Video/Digital Encephalographic monitoring (LTM) in both adult and pediatric patients
  • Performing urgent diagnostic tests on critically ill patients in ICU or ER, or in the lab setting
  • Monitoring patients with surgically implanted intracranial electrodes
  • Performing complex pre-op set-ups with electrodes on multiple anatomic sites
  • Assisting physicinas with invasive procedures in intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring, electrocorticography, and electromyography
  • Performing complex pre-op set-ups with electrodes on multiple anatomic sites
  • Participates in on-call rotation for EEG and LTM
  • Taking rotations as Team Leader

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Neurophysiology (or related title) of minimum two-year duration.
  • Current registration in EEG with the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalograph Technologists (CBRET) or the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET), or similar organization
  • A minimum of two years of current, full-time, post-registration experience as a Neurophysiology Technologist in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in the USA, Canada, the UK, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand
