The Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE (CCAD) is a 364-bed, tertiary-care, adult-focus hospital. CCAD is an extension of the US-based Cleveland Clinic’s model.

In all, more than 30 medical and surgical specialties are represented at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. The hospital officially opened in May 2015.

The Imaging Institute offers the following services: Diagnostic Radiology (Abdominal Imaging, Cardiac & Pulmonary Imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging), Neuroradiology, ​ Diagnostic & Therapeutic Interventional Radiology,​ Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging, PET/CT.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, OR
    Diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology (of minimum three-year duration - two-year programs cannot be considered), OR
    Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology (of minimum two-year duration), OR
    Bachelor's, Diploma, or Associates in Radiography AND a minimum one-year Degree or Diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology (from an accredited institution; program cannot be online or distance education)
  • Current national registration (e.g., ARRT(N), NMTCB, CAMRT, etc.)
  • Minimum two years of current, post-Registration experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a mid- to large-sized acute-care/tertiary setting in the USA, Canada, the UK, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand
