The Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE (CCAD) is a 364-bed, tertiary-care, adult-focus hospital. CCAD is an extension of the US-based Cleveland Clinic’s model.

In all, more than 30 medical and surgical specialties are represented at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. The hospital officially opened in May 2015.

The CSICU has 24 beds.

Summary:

This position is responsible for establishing the clinical direction for nursing care delivery, providing clinical supervision and ensuring the quality of patient care and outcomes for the department. This position is also responsible for financial planning/budgeting, human resources/staffing and clinical practices within assigned unit.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (please note, online BSNs cannot be accepted)
  • Certificate or post-grad diploma in Nursing Management/Healthcare Management preferred
  • Current RN license
  • Minimum six years of experience as an RN in a mid- to large-sized tertiary setting, of which at least two to three years of current experience must be in management on a similar unit
  • CSICU/CVICU experience is mandatory
