Established in 1996, the Prince Sultan Cardiac Center is a 174-bed advanced cardiac hospital, which provides high-quality, comprehensive cardiovascular healthcare services to armed forced personnel and their dependants.

The Nursing CQI & PS Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the management and coordination of the Nursing Department Quality Improvement and Patient Safety program, including the monitoring of compliance to policies and standards as required to achieve and maintain accreditation.

The Coordinator will assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of Quality Improvement activities, as well as provide quality management education and support for all nursing department staff in conjunction with the Nursing CQI & PS Facilitator.


  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand (online programs cannot be considered)
  • Current nursing (RN) license in: Canada, the United States, the UK, Western Europe, Australia or New Zealand
  • Minimum five years of recent experience as an RN in a mid- to large-sized acute-care/tertiary hospital in Canada, the US, the UK, Western Europe, Australia and New Zealand, of which at least the past two years must be in healthcare quality and patient safety
  • CPHQ credential is preferred
  • Cardiac background required
