Responsibilities:

Overseeing the development of the Medical simulation training center. This is a new program, so the hospital needs someone with a “pioneer” attitude, a problem solver, and someone who can get results. Extensive experience in an advanced medical simulation training facility (for, e.g. McGill) is essential

Requirements:

  • Degree in clinical area (e.g., medicine, nursing, or medical support/allied area)
  • Master’s in Education (online degrees cannot be considered)
  • Technical expertise, and certified instructor level in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NRP, etc.
  • Five years of current leadership experience in Medical Simulation Training in the USA, Canada, or the UK
  • Deep understanding of the educational concepts related to medical simulation training
