King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz University Hospital (KAAUH) is a teaching hospital for, and located on the campus of, the Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University (PNU), in Riyadh. Currently the hospital has about 158 beds open, with a 406 bed capacity.

The hospital has 100-160 deliveries per month:

  • 60-100 are normal births
  • 40-70 are C-sections
  • 45-60 are high-risk

The unit has six delivery rooms (one is a VIP suite) and three induction rooms. The unit also caters to patients needing magnesium sulfate infusions and close monitoring for PIH/Pre-Eclampsia.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Midwifery (online/distance education programs cannot be considered)
    OR
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing AND Midwifery qualification (online/distance education programs cannot be considered)
    AND
  • Must have a minimum of three years of recent experience as Midwife in a mid- to large-sized acute-care/tertiary hospital setting, of which the past year must be in OB/Midwifery
