The hospital has 100-160 deliveries per month:

  • 60-100 are normal births
  • 40-70 are C-sections
  • 45-60 are high-risk

The unit has six delivery rooms (one is a VIP suite) and three induction rooms. The unit also caters to patients needing magnesium sulfate infusions and close monitoring for PIH/Pre-Eclampsia.

Requirements:

  • BSN, ADN, or RN diploma accepted (BSN preferred)
  • Midwifery qualification
  • NOTE: Applicants must hold BOTH a Registered Midwife qualification and a Registered Nurse qualification
  • Must have a minimum of three years of recent experience as an RN, of which the past year must be in OB/Midwifery
